Clarkstown Town Clerk David Carlucci has recently started tweeting about what is going on in Clarkstown. Carlucci stated, "Government belongs to our residents, so utilizing twitter is a great way to get information about programs and services to our residents. Twitter helps keep people in the loop, that in the past, might not have had the opportunity or the time to find out about their local government, due to commuting, raising a family, etc.” Carlucci will also tweet about Town Board meeting agendas, proposed local laws, Clerk’s evening hours, mobile office dates and locations. I'll always remember this young kid knocking on my door telling me how he's running for town clerk and talking about all the improvements that he was going to make to the clerks office.
